Southwest
Baptist’s spirit squad will hold the Bearcat Kids Spirit
Clinic on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon in Davison
Field House.
The clinic will be for girls and boys from preschool (four
years old) through eighth grade. The children will be divided
into three groups to learn a patriotic spirit routine to be
performed at halftime of the women’s game against Northwest
Missouri State. The game is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. tipoff.
The $15 fee includes instruction by the SBU Spirit Squad,
a t-shirt, an autographed picture of B.C. the Bearcat, a snack
and free admission to the game.
Register by calling the SBU athletics office at (417) 328-1975 or
by E-mail to shale@sbuniv.edu. Registrations are due Wednesday,
Feb 12. Late registration will be taken until Saturday morning
with an extra $5 fee. T-shirt sizes can not be guaranteed.
Check-in for the clinic will be at the east entrance of the
field house.
