MEN'S TENNIS TO PLAY AT ORU

TULSA, Okla. – Southwest Baptist’s men’s tennis team will travel to Tulsa, Okla. to face Oral Roberts on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 4:30 p.m. at Philcrest Hills.

The No. 13 Bearcats (2-1) are coming off a weekend highlighted by Andras Bori and Mark Eori being honored by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame with a Missouri Sports Achievement Award. SBU also defeated No. 32 Delta State 9-0 on Friday, Feb. 14 before losing on Saturday to No. 11 Ouachita Baptist, 7-2.

The Bearcats are led by Bori and Eori who have yet to lose this season in doubles as they are ranked No. 1 in the nation.

Oral Roberts enters the week with a 2-6 record and has lost the last four matches, including a 6-1 loss to Arkansas-Little Rock on Friday, Feb. 14 and a 7-0 loss to New Orleans on Saturday, Feb. 15. The Golden Eagles are scheduled to play Oklahoma Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21.

Last season, Oral Roberts won the match on March 8, 5-4. SBU won the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles and singles seeds. The other singles matches were close, but ORU prevailed.
