Southwest
Baptist’s men’s basketball team will open its 2002-03
home schedule on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 1 p.m. when it hosts
Harris-Stowe.
SBU enters the game with an 0-3 record after dropping a 65-57
decision to Indianapolis on Tuesday. Arthur Trousdell led
the team with 16 points. David Coutchie and Ryan Stock each
had 11 points and Marcus Jackson added 10. Stock led the Bearcats
with nine rebounds.
The Bearcats were down 21-27 at the break. IU scored 34 poin
ts in the pain compared to SBU’s 18. SBU shot 35.3 percent
from the floor, 25 percent from the arc and only 66.7 percent
from the charity stripe.
Harris-Stowe enters the game with a 2-1 record.
SBU leads the series, 8-0.
