Overall, I felt like we accomplished some good things
on Saturday, said SBU Head Track and Field Coach Mark
Misch. We had several people running their first indoor
meet ever. I was very happy with our efforts and attitudes.
Of course, we held out several people to train or work through
their injuries, and we have a long season ahead of us. Its
always good to get the first meet out of the way.
The SBU teams ran against teams from the University of Oklahoma,
the University of Arkansas, Missouri Southern, Oklahoma Baptist,
Pittsburg State and several others.
The teams will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 1 when they
travel to the Kansas Indoor Invitational.
