TOPEKA, KS. ... Continuing the tradition of Southwest Baptist tennis, the Bearcats won their third straight MIAA Championship on Sunday. With the win, it was their 13th overall championship. They defeated Northwest Missouri State, 5-1.
SBU started off with a 3-0 advantage in doubles and then Dante Cipulli (#1) and Johan Nortje (#5) won their singles matches for the win.
Earlier, SBU defeated Truman State 5-0 to advance to the championship.
