ARKADELPHIA, ARK. ...Facing the best junior college in the country, the Southwest Baptist University Bearcats (1-1) fell short of knocking off Tyler Junior College, 5-4. It was SBU's first defeat of the season.
Andras Bori/Mark Eori were the only doubles team to pick up a win over Hubbard/Autren, 8-6.
In singles, Dante Cipulli (#1), Eori (#3), Johan Nortje (#4), and Peter Joos (#5) were the winners in singles competition.
Bori lost a close match at the #2 position to Growcott, 6-4, 6-4.
They will be back in action as they take on Ouchita Baptist at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.
