#13 SBU GIVES NWMSU FIRST DEFEAT OF THE YEAR

BOLIVAR, MO. ... The Southwest Baptist University Bearcats started their road down for another MIAA championship by defeating Northwest Missouri State, 6-3. NWMSU came into the match with a 10-0 record.
SBU won four of the six singles matches. Dante Cipulli, Mark Eori, and Andras Bori were winners in the #1, #2, and #3 spots. Johan Nortje then picked up a win in the #5 spot.
In doubles competition, SBU won the #1 and #2 matches. Eori/Cipulli won the #1 and Bori/Nortje took the #2 match.
