#10 DRURY DROPS #13 SBU, 6-3
SPRINGFIELD, MO. ... In a battle of two top ranked teams in the nation, the Southwest Baptist University Bearcats (12-4) fell to #10 Drury University, 6-3. Drury won four of the six singles matches.
SBU started off down 2-1 in doubles after Dante Cipulli/Johan Nortje picked up the win, 8-5, over Kiruki/Fejzula.
Mark Eori and Cipulli were the only winners in singles. Eori won the #3 spot, 6-2, 6-3 over ante Bottini and Cipulli took the #1 match, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, over #19 Javier Llanes.
SBU will be back in action on Friday, April 9th, against Washburn in Topeka, Kansas
