Walker
made his presense felt in his first season as a Bearcat, by
contributing 5 points and 3 rebounds per game. He played in
24 games, starting in 3 and led the Bearcats that lettered
in field-goal percentage with a 51%. Transferred to SBU from
Southern Louisiana-Shreveport. He avereaged 13.5 points and
9.5 rebounds per game in 2001 and was named all-Region 24
National Junior College Athletics Association and all-Mislou
Conference. Graduated from Homer High School in 1999. Son
of Guy and Marjorie Walker. Born 2 March 1980.
