Turner
was a redshirt last season for the Bearcat and will compete
for playing time as a guard. A four year varsity starter in
high school. He averaged 6 assists and 5 steals per game.
A four time all-conference and all-area selection, Turner
was named team MVP three years running. He made played football
all four years of high school, baseball one year, track three
years and was a member of the weightlifting team for four
years. He was honored as a College Preparatory Certificate
winner and selected to be a member of Missouri Boys State.
Turner was also a active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes,
National Honor Society, and choir. He is a physical education
and health major. 2001 graduate of Sherwood High School. Son
of Bill and Carol Turner. Born 10 May 1983.
