AT HASTING BOYS H.S.: Was named team captain in senior year ... Played two years of varsity basketball ... Went to the high school regionals and was the MVP ... Captain of the New Zealand under-20 team ... Led team to a state championship in Preth, Australia.
COACH ARCHER SAYS: He is going to be missed for our first eight games this year, but it will be awfully nice to get him back into purple and white. Were glad to have that whole NCAA situation put behind us. Art can have a tremendous career here at Southwest Baptist. He came in and had a fantastic freshman year and I think the sky is the limit for this young man. He continues to work hard even though he knows hes not going to be able to play the first eight games. He is really focused on the remainder of the season.
