Should
start at the point guard position once again in 2002-03. Played
in all 27 games last winter for the Bearcats, starting in
25. Stock averaged 13.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 7 assists
per game last season. He needs 403 points to break the 1,000
point plateau in his three-year SBU career. Transferred to
SBU from Rockhurst before the start of the 2000-01 school
year. Averaged 9.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in 2000-01.
Also had 144 assists, for an average of 5.8 per game. Led
the Rockhurst Hawks in both steals and assists as a part-time
starter as a freshman. Stock prepped at Kickapoo High School
in Springfield where he was a two time Missouri Class 4A First
Team all-State player. He was also a two time First Team all-Ozarks,
all-Conference and all-District player and was selected to
the 1998 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions All-Tournament Team.
In addition, he was also a 1998-99 USA Today and McDonalds
All America nominee and was selected to play in the 1999 Missouri
Lions Club City/Area and Missouri Basketball Coaches
Association Hall of Fame All-Star Games. 1999 graduate of
Kickapoo High School in Springfield. Son of Larry and Kris
