SBU Wins Last Non-Conference Game
Southwest Baptist 88, Missouri Valley 77

BOLIVAR - The Southwest Baptist Bearcats (4-4) won their last non-conference game of the season on Dec. 16 over Missouri Valley, 88-77. The men are 3-1 at home this season, with the only loss to Harding on Dec. 14, 87-61.

The men had six different people in double figures in the victory, including D.J. Hogue who led the team with 15 points. Also scoring in double figures was Marcus Jackson (14), Ryan Stock (13), Arthur Trousdell (12), Kendrick Jackson (10) and David Coutchie (10). Trousdell had a game-high 14 rebounds.

The Bearcats shot 100 percent from the charity stripe (20-20) and hit 53.2 percent of their shots from the field.

SBU led 38-37 at the half and outscored MVC 50-40 in the second period.

SBU will host Missouri-Rolla at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30.
