Bearcats Drop Second Game
Panhandle State 85, Southwest Baptist 78

GOODWELL, Okla . - Despite leading 37-31 at halftime, Southwest Baptist lost its second game of the season 85-78 on Saturday, Nov. 23. The loss came at the hands of Panhandle State in Goodwell, Okla. at the PSU Classic.

The Bearcats were outscored 54-41 in the second period to drop to 0-2 on the season.

SBU was led by four Bearcats in double figures. D.J. Hogue had 17 points for the Bearcats followed by Kendrick Jackson with 16 points. David Coutchie and Ryan Stock had 12 points each. Stock led the team with nine rebounds and seven assists.

SBU shot 47.2 percent from the field (25-53), 53.8 percent from the arc (7-13) and 21-26 from the line (80.8 percent). The key stat is the 19 turnovers and 25 fouls to PSU's 11 TOs and 18 fouls.

SBU will return to action on Tuesday, Nov. 26 when they travel to Indianapolis, Ind. to face Indianapolis at 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
