ARCHER TO SIT OUT INDEFINATELY DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS

BOLIVAR, MO. ... Due to ongoing health concerns from his surgery in October, men’s basketball head coach Darin Archer will be out indefinately until he is released from his doctors. Assistant Coach Ron Nunnelly will take over as acting head coach.

Back in October, Archer had an emergency appendectomy while recruiting and then a follow-up procedure due to blood loss from the first surgery. Since that time, he has had complications from the surgery that has led to him missing four games.

Due to SBU policy, Archer cannot return until he is released from his doctors.
