WARRENSBURG, MO. ... Finishing their first meet of the 2004 season, the Southwest Baptist University men's golf team claimed ninth place at the Heart of America Golf Classic in Warrensburg with a total of 931 (310-307-314). Missouri Southern won the meet with a score of 879 (295-287-297). Tying for 10th place was Dusty Smith with a three round total of 223 (73-71-79). Nick Layman (74-78-74) finished wiht a 226 to finis tied for 16th place. Mike Martinez claimed the 46th spot with a score of 237 (80-78-79).
SBU will be back in action when they travel to St. Joseph for the Missouri Western Invitational on April 5th and 6th.
