Coach Richards has signed six new players for the 2005 season. He will be entering his fifth season at SBU. |
BOLIVAR, MO. ... Head Coach Ray Richards has announced 10 more players that will play their collegiate careers at Southwest Baptist University. With these signings, the class now has 17 athletes coming to play football at SBU.
SBU has four from Missouri, four from Texas, two from Utah and Illinois, and one from Arkansas, Georgia, and Tennessee. SBU also signed three junior college transfers from Mississippi to bring the class to 16. The class has four defensive backs, three offensive linemen, two running backs, one quarterback, and four players that could either play offense or defense.
SBU will open up the 2005 season when they host Harding University on August 27 in Bolivar at 6 p.m.
