In his second year with the SBU baseball program, Josh Scarbrough comes from a successful baseball program at the University of Virginia-Wise. He will be working with the hitters and catchers at SBU.

At UVA-Wise, Scarbrough played all four years and finished his senior season at ninth in the nation for home runs in NAIA. He also finished 18th nationally in RBI. By hitting so many homeruns, he set the record for single season homers at UVA-Wise. In his four years, he played first base, third base, and catcher.

He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in history in 2002 and is working towards his Master's in Education at SBU.

Scarbrough is originally from Ashburn, Virginia, and attended Broad Run H.S. where he lettered three years in baseball.
