SBU: 2005 season...Entering his senior season at Southwest Baptist University...2004 season...As a junior, appeared 18 games including 15 starts...Led the team in complete games (3), most starts (15), most appearances (18), shutouts (1), innings pitched (94.1), strikeouts (91), earned run average (3.15), and opponents batting average (.246)...Was selected All-MIAA First Team...Named to the NCAA Division II All-Central Region Second Team...Awarded MIAA Pitcher of the Week on April 13.

Tennessee Temple: Had a 1.63 ERA with 86 strikeouts in 75 innings ... Was an all-South Regional selection.

Personal: Will major in biology ... Is the son of Layton and Teresa Childress ... Born on May 19, 1983.
