SBU: 2005 season...Entering his senior season at Southwest Baptist University...2004 season...As a junior, played in only four games including one start versus Arkansas Tech...Earned a selection onto the All-MIAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll...As a sophomore, started in 13 games while playing in 15 ... Had a .211 batting average with eight hits ... In pitching, made eight appearances with an 8.71 ERA.

Seminole State Junior College: Member of nationally ranked team.

Republic H.S.: Was a first-team all-conference selection.

Personal: Double major in criminal justice and psychology ... Is the son of Mike and Linda Burrell ... Born on July 15, 1982.
