SBU: 2005 season...Entering his senior season at Southwest Baptist University...2004 season...As a junior, started in all 51 games played...Finished with a .304 batting average...Led the team in runs scored (33)...Finished second on the team in on base percentage (.419) and walks (26)...As a sophomore, Started in 25 games while playing in 34 ... Had four doubles with 11 RBIs ... Stole two bases and had a .316 slugging percentage.

Longview Community College: Only played one year for Longview before transferring to SBU.

Republic H.S.: Two-time all-conference selection ... Named to all-state team ... Helped team to 1999 District title ... A two-time American Legion all-star team member ... Also a member of the Science Club, National Forensics League, Speech and Debate, and Environmental Club.

Personal: Is the son of Chris and Julie Beal ... Born on October 3, 1981.
