    Mike Wolhoy begins his third year as the head athletic trainer for Southwest Baptist. Mike comes to the Bearcats via Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he spent the last two years helping to mold a newly accredited athletic training program.

    Prior to working in Michigan, Wolhoy spent two years in Monroe, Louisiana working on his master's degree and assisting with athletic training duties for football and baseball. Wolhoy graduated from Graceland University in southern Iowa in 2002 with a degree in health, physical education, and recreation with emphasis in athletic training. While completing his undergraduate degree, Mike played football and baseball for the Yellowjackets. He earned two varsity letters in each sport. Wolhoy also spent two years at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa, where he earned his associate in arts degree. He also competed in football and baseball for the Panthers.

    Mike and his wife, Crystal, have been married for three years and presently reside in Bolivar.
