Assistant Athletic Director, L. Renae Myles

The newest member of the SBU Athletics
Administration team is Assistant Athletics
Director L. Renae Myles. Dr. Myles is a native of
Clarksdale, Mississippi, where she earned her B.A.
Degree in Journalism/ Public Relations with a minor in English at the
University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her Masters of Education
degree from Northwestern State University in Louisiana majoring in
Physical Education/Sports Administration and her doctorate at the University
of Pittsburgh with an emphasis in Administrative & Policy Studies/Higher
Education Administration.

Dr. Myles has worked in several areas of athletics
at the University of Connecticut, University of Pittsburgh,
San Jose State University, and most recently at
Delaware State University as an assistant athletics director where she
performed duties as a sport supervisor, worked with academic
support and compliance, and counseled student-athletes.
