Tammy Ikerd, Compliance Administrator/Finance Manager

Beginning her 13th year at Southwest Baptist, Ikerd
was promoted to compliance administrator and
finance manager in May 2005. She has been a part
of SBU athletics since March 1994 when she
came aboard as the secretary
of the football department.

In March 1999, Ikerd was promoted to administrative assistant for the SBU
athletics department. Behind men’s tennis coach
John Bryant, she has the second longest tenure in
the athletics department.

Ikerd has put in many hours at SBU, helping with all the gameday festivities. She has overseen
student-workers, organized gameday help for football and basketball, and helped
with many other athletics events. With her promotion, she has overseen
the NCAA compliance for all the SBU athletes and managed the finances
for the athletics department. A native of Halfway, Missouri, she has been
married to her husband Bart for 19 years. They have
one daughter, Sami (16), and two sons, Logan (12)
and Sean (8).
