BOLIVAR, MO -- Jared Young scored 28 points, and grabbed 6 rebounds in a MIAA win against Missouri Southern (84-77).

The Bearcats found themselves behind by 10 a minute into the second half. But SBU went on a 42-22 run in 13 1/2 minutes to gain a 10 point lead with 5:30 to play.

SBU's shooting percentage was 32.3% in the first half, but came back in the second half with a blistering 54.5% from the field.

The Bearcats led in every category. They had 36 rebounds to MSSU's 26. They had 9 steals to MSSU's 7. They had 20 assists and 3 blocks to MSSU's 12 and 0.
