Bearcats Lose To Truman 68-81

BOLIVAR, MO -- Entering tonight's game, the SBU Bearcats had won their last three games with late, strong, explosive runs. But tonight, the Truman Bulldogs outscored the Bearcats by 20 (28-48) in the 2nd half, and took one on the Bearcats' home court 68-81.
The categories were fairly even in rebounding and field goals. But turnovers and fouls were costly for SBU. Truman was awarded 31 free throws (hitting 23) to SBU's 10 (hitting 7). SBU committed 15 turnovers to Truman's 7.
SBU put three players in double figures. Andy Wills scored 13, Jason Jemison scored 12, and Colt Blair scored 11.

Banks Estridge (Truman) led all scoring with 26.
The Bearcats are in action next on Monday, January 22 in a make-up game here in Bolivar against Missouri Southern. Tipoff is at 7:45 PM.
