#21 Bearcats knock off #16 Drury in men's tennis

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The #21 SBU Bearcats defeated the #16 Drury Panthers 6-3 in dual match action Tuesday at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
SBU took two of three in doubles, including a hard-fought 9-8 win by Marton Zsiga and Emilio El Alabi at #1. In a matchup of former teammates, SBU's Zsiga (currently ranked #26 nationally) defeated Drury's Alex Kacamakis 6-1, 6-4. Kacamakis played his first two seasons with the Bearcats before transferring to Drury.
El Alabi battled against #38-ranked Nahom Serekeberhan before falling in three sets. Jorge Margiotta also picked a singles win for the Bearcats at #4.
The Bearcats will be in action next week, on Tuesday, April 21 when they host Missouri-St. Louis at 1:00 p.m.
