Bearcat women's tennis blanked by Drury

BOLIVAR, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcat women's tennis team was swept 9-0 by #26 Drury University in Tuesday's dual match at the Bryant Tennis Center.

In #1 doubles, SBU's Jolee Cook and Johanna Olsson led at 7-6 before Drury's Katia Bon and Chandra Capozzi battled back to win. Olsson was the only SBU player in singles to capture a set, falling 2-6, 7-5, 7-10 to Capozzi.

SBU falls to 6-8 overall while Drury improves to 16-4 on the season.

The Bearcats travel to Tahlequah, Okla., for matches with the host Northeastern State, Southeastern Oklahoma State and Cameron, this Friday and Saturday, April 17 and 18.
