Women's tennis falls to league leader Washburn

BOLIVAR, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcat women's tennis team fell 8-1 to league-leading Washburn in Saturday afternoon action at the Bryant Tennis Center.

Sarah Sentlinger scored the only win for the Bearcats, winning
7-5, 6-7 (1-7), 10-8 over Annie Doole of Washburn in #5 singles.

The loss drops the Bearcats to 6-7 overall and 3-4 in the MIAA. Washburn, nationally ranked at #43, improves to 11-2 and 7-0 in the MIAA.

SBU hosts Drury this Tuesday, April 14, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
