Men's tennis drops two matches in Maryville

MARYVILLE, Mo. -- The SBU men’s tennis team competed Saturday against Northwest Missouri State and Graceland (Iowa) University. The SBU Bearcats dropped both matches by 6-3 counts.

Against the green Bearcats of Northwest, Marton Zsiga, Agustin Mollar and Jorge Palacios scored singles wins. In the match versus Graceland, Mollar and Jorge Margiotta grabbed singles wins and Zsiga & Palacios snagged a doubles victory. This was the first time Zsiga and Palacios had played together this season, after Emilio El Alabi was injured in the first match with Northwest.

SBU continues MIAA play this weekend when they host Truman for men's and women's dual matches starting at 1:00 p.m.
