Eight On MIAA Academic Honor Roll for Volleyball

KANSAS CITY, MO -- Eight members of the SBU Lady Bearcat volleyball team have been named on the 2007 MIAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
SBU's Whitney Baker, Piper Cox, Trish Hammerschmidt, Brittni Jessen, Chelsea Kenney, Joy Oatman, Shyrah Perry, and Kelsey Stewart have made the MIAA's prestigious list.
Student-athletes are named to the list under the following criteria: 1.) The student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or better at the qualifying institution; 2.) The student-athlete must have at least two terms of attendance at the member school, excluding summer sessions; 3.) The student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior in athletic eligibility; 4.) Student-athletes inactive due to redshirt or hardship qualification are not eligible.
