SBU women's tennis finishes fall slate at ITA regionals

TOPEKA, Kan. -- The SBU women's tennis team completed the fall portion of the 2009-10 season at the ITA Division II South Central Regional at Topeka. Sixty-four singles players and 32 doubles players competed for a trip to the ITA National Singles and Doubles Championships, October 15-18 in Mobile, Alabama.

SBU's No. 1 through No. 3 singles players, Jolee Cook, Johanna Olsson
and Jenna Hendrickson, earned All-MIAA Honorable Mention in their
respective flights in conference honors announced Wednesday.

Women's tennis ends season in MIAA tourney loss to UNO

The SBU Bearcat women's tennis team fell to Nebraska-Omaha, 5-3, in the
first round of the MIAA tournament on Saturday. The loss ended the Bearcats' season
at 8-9 overall.
