Pierce earns second straight MIAA Runner of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- SBU's Michael Pierce helped the Bearcats win the Division II portion of the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday with a first place finish. For those efforts and for the second straight week, he was named the MIAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The
SBU men's cross country took the Division II portion of the 24th Roy
Griak Invitational behind a first place finish by Michael Pierce. The
Bearcat men's squad had four runners in the top 20 (Pierce, Jeremy
Glassmaker, Shawn Etzenhouser and Will Hansen).

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The SBU cross country teams will make a much longer trip to this weekend's race, traveling nearly nine hours to the University of Minnesota's 24th Annual Roy Griak Invitational.
