Bearcat volleyball splits matches at Lady Blues Classic

TOPEKA, Kan. -- SBU
knocked off Angelo State, 3-1, before dropping a close match to Tarleton
in a rematch from earlier this season, 3-2. The 'Cats came away from
the Lady Blues Fall Classic with a 2-2 record.

Good and bad first day for volleyball at Lady Blues Classic

TOPEKA, Kan. -- The start of the day was much better than the end for
the SBU Bearcat volleyball at the Washburn Lady Blues Fall Classic.
After topping Southwestern Oklahoman State 3-0 early in the day, the
Bearcats took the first two sets against Southeastern Oklahoma State
before the Savage Storm rallied to win the final three sets and the
match.

Volleyball breaks for Lady Blues Fall Classic

TOPEKA, Kan. -- The
SBU Bearcats (7-10) look to extend their current winning streak as they
hit the road for the Washburn Lady Blues Fall Classic. Facing off
against four Lone Star Conference opponents, if SBU can win the opener
against Southwest Oklahoma State, they will extend their winning streak
to three games, the longest streak for the program since 2002.

MARYVILLE, Mo. -- The SBU volleyball capped a successful weekend trip north, beating Northwest Missouri State 3-1 on Saturday for back-to-back MIAA road victories.

Volleyball gains first MIAA win over Missouri Western

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The SBU volleyball gained their first MIAA win of the season with a 3-1 victory at Missouri Western. The Bearcats won the first two sets by identical 25-20 scores, before the Griffons won the third 25-15. SBU would respond by winning the fourth, 25-19, to close the match.
