SBU Lady 'Cats Lose to Truman 66-77

Rachel Graves led SBU with 16 points including 4 of 7 from three point range.
BOLIVAR, MO -- Truman took advantage of some hot shooting, and handed the SBU Lady 'Cats a 66-77 loss.

SBU never led, but kept things very close for the first 32 minutes of play. That's when Truman began to stretch out their lead with a string of made free throws.

Rachel Graves had 16 for the Lady 'Cats. Cortney Shewmaker added 14. Livia Brito scored 9 and grabbed 6 rebounds.

SBU shot 38.5% from the field to Truman's 52.2%.

Sophomore Courtney Creed on defense against TSU.
SBU's record stands at 10-6, 2-5 in the MIAA. The win was Truman's first conference win. They are 1-7 in MIAA play.

The Lady 'Cats are in action next on Monday, January 22 in a make-up game here in Bolivar against Missouri Southern. Tipoff is at 5:45 PM.
