Bowling also tied for second in the high jump. Jenny Blair won the 400 meters and took third in the 200.

Michael McCampbell won the 3000 meter steeplechase. Jeremy Glassmaker took third in the 800 meters. The men's 4x400m relay team also placed third.

The SBU Bearcats will compete next weekend at the MIAA Outdoor Championships. The two-day event will be held at Missouri Southern in Joplin and begins Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 3 at noon.
