Bearcat outdoor track scores seven wins at MSSU Festival

JOPLIN, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcat outdoor track and field squad competed Friday at the Missouri Southern Track and Field Festival. The Bearcats picked up seven event wins and provisionally qualified for nationals in four events. Among the Bearcats scoring event wins were:

Sarah Bowling (high jump) 5-06.00  NCAA provisional
Sarah Bowling (triple jump) 37-11.50 
NCAA provisional
Jeff Weseloh (400 meters) 49.58
Shawn Etzenhouser (800 meters) 1:54.34
Jeremy Glassmaker (1500 meters) 3:58.12
Kyle Grant (high jump) 6-10.25 
NCAA provisional
Men's 4x400 meters relay team 3:20.85

In addition, Bowling also finished second in the long jump and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships. Jenny Blair also set school records in the 100 (time: 12.30) and 200 meters (time: 25.24) after finishing second in both events.
