KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Rockhurst Hawks topped the SBU Bearcats 16-3 in a makeup game Tuesday afternoon.

Rockhurst got two runs in the first and two more in the third inning, before getting five runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings. SBU would get a run in the sixth and two in the eighth. Kyle Wise was 2-for-4 for SBU including a triple. Caleb Dudley hit his first homer of the year for the Bearcats. Jordan Myers of Rockhurst was 5-for-5 with a triple and home run.

The game was the second of a doubleheader that was originally scheduled for February 14, but was postponed due to weather. It was then rescheduled for February 17, when the Bearcats took game one 10-7 in Bolivar.

The Bearcats are now 7-21 on the season. The loss was their 11th straight setback. Rockhurst improved to 21-10 for the year. SBU hosts Central Missouri for doubleheaders this Friday and Saturday.
