SPRINGFIELD, Mo. --
The SBU Bearcats finished tied for sixth in the rain-shortened Pasta House Drury
Spring Invitational held at Highland Springs. SBU's Brad Nipper also finished tied for sixth in the individual standings.
Heavy rains Tuesday wiped out the second round so Monday's scores became the final results. Central Missouri won the team championship with a score of 648. West Texas A&M's Brandon Holub and UCM's Jared King shared medalist honors with scores of 152.
Nipper tied for sixth with five other golfers with scores of 161. SBU's Justin Sellin tied for 20th, Bryan Steele tied for 31st and Matt Buschman was 40th.
SBU is back in action on April 13-14 in Topeka, Kan., for the Washburn Invitational.
