DURANT, Okla. -- The SBU baseball Bearcats fell twice at Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday, losing 4-2 and 6-4.

Coach Sam Berg described the day's games as a "repeat of yesterday." He added, "We played well against a good team. Southeastern got some timely hits in the first game. We competed hard. Greg Seay threw a good game. In the second game, we made a few mistakes that cost us."

Seay went six innings in the 4-2 loss to open the double header. He allowed three runs and struck out four. The Bearcats got two hits and an RBI each from Bo Helsel and Justin Crumpley.

In game two, Jason Asher drove in three runs with a two-out double in the top of the seventh as the 'Cats tried to rally from a 6-1 deficit. Eric Wallace took the loss after throwing 4 2/3 innings but allowing three unearned runs.

The Bearcats (0-3) will travel to Russellville to take on Arkansas Tech on Tuesday for a double header beginning at 2:00 p.m.
