Bearcat Volleyball Loses to #7 Washburn

BOLIVAR, Mo. - Bearcats lose 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-11) to the #7 Nationally ranked and #1 Regionally ranked Lady Blues of Washburn.

The Bearcats started off well in sets 1 and 2, sticking with the Nationally ranked Lady Blues to 11-11 and 13-13 respectively.

Freshman Ashley Jurgensmeyer led the team in kills with 7 and Kylie Heim led in blocks with 4.

Tomorrow will be senior recognition day for the Bearcats as they say goodbye to two seniors in Shyrah Perry and Joy Oatman. They will face Fort Hays State at 3pm.
