ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcat volleyball team, ranked #10 in the South Central Region, defeated Missouri Western tonight, 3-1.

Ashley Jurgensmeyer led the offense with 20 kills, and added 6 to her block total. Kinsey Palmer added 14 kills. Brianna Wallace had 40 assists tonight.

The Bearcats are now 12-15 on the season, and raise their MIAA record to 4-10.

Tonight's 12th win equals the most by the Bearcats since the 1999 season.
