WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcats lost to Central Missouri, 2-0, in a key MIAA soccer matchup.

The Bearcats out-shot Central, 10-6, and were able to keep the game scoreless until the 52nd minute. That's when UCM's Katie O'Keefe scored a header from a corner kick served by Hazel Cox. Then in the 81st minute, Melanie Hall added a goal for Central on an assist from Lindsay Hoerl to complete the games scoring.

The loss gives SBU a 8-3-2 record with a 7-3-1 mark in the MIAA.
