Bearcat Volleyball Loses to Nationally Ranked Gorillas

BOLIVAR, Mo. - Bearcats lose 3-1 (21-25, 25-20, 25-12, 25-12) to Gorilla's after taking the first set.

Kelsey Stewart hit an impressive 16 kills in the match with a hitting percentage of .448. She was followed by Rachel Sawyer who had 10.

THe Bearcats were able to out block their opponents 6-3. Kylie Heim led her team in this category with 4, and Sawyer had 3.

Head Coach Kelly Richardson on today's match "The girls did an excellent job executing consistently. In the first and second set we were disciplined in our motions, but we need to do a better job through the whole match."

The Bearcats will host Central Missouri Jennies on Tuesday at 7pm.
