BOLIVAR, Mo. - SBU Bearcat's put three past and record their sixth  shut out of the season.

The Bearcats opened the scoring in the 77th minute when Rhianne Mitchell played the ball across the six yard box and watch as it was deflected in from an MSSU players attempted clearance.

The second was quickly added when the Welsh attacking duo of Kelly Isaac and Nicola Cousins linked up to give Cousins her 12th goal of the season and Isaac her 2nd assist.

With just over two minutes left in play the Bearcats finished of the Lions with a second goal of the game for Mitchell, the assist coming Cousins.

SBU out shot Missouri Southern 30-5, which was reflected in the final 3-0 score.

Head Coach Benjamin Wade on today's game "It is always scary facing a team the second time, you never know how the players are going to come out. Today I saw some of the best soccer we have played all season. This was a big confidence win for not only the girls but us as coaches."

The SBU will travel to Central Missouri on Wednesday, Kick-Off is at 7pm.
