BOLIVAR, Mo. -- The SBU Bearcats suffered their second loss of the season, 1-0 against Missouri Western, on the SBU Soccer Field.

Western only managed 4 shots in the contest (2 on goal), but Mary Ohm was able to send one of those shots off the hands of SBU's Johanna Olsson into the net.

SBU took 25 shots in the game (8 on goal), 11 of which were by Nicola Cousins. SBU took 9 corner kicks to Missouri Western's 2.

"We are all bitterly disappointed by the outcome of this match," said SBU's head coach, Benjamin Wade. "But soccer is unique like that. Any team can win against any team on any given day. That's what happened today."

The loss drops the Bearcats' record to 6-2-1 on the season.

SBU hosts Truman on Saturday, at 11:30.
