Volleyball Loses to Hosts

SEARCY, Ark. - Bearcat Volleyball loses to Harding 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 17-25, 25-20.)

The Bearcats fell behind 0-2, but fought back hard in the third set, winning by 8 points. The fourth set started neck and neck, but the Bearcats could not hold on, and Harding finished off the match with a 25-20 win.

Kelsey Stewart dominated the match for both teams with 18 kills. Ashley Jurgensmeyer added another 12 kills to her tally along with 6 blocks.

Brianna Wallace added 44 assists to her season total putting her at 362 for the year.

Shyrah Perry and Kinsey Palmer put in a strong defensive effort for the Bearcats with 17 and 15 digs, respectively.

The Bearcats are now 6-5 and will face Ouachita Baptist later today in the final match of the Harding Classic.
