BILLINGS, Mont. – SBU Bearcat Football’s Jeff Finnell has been named as the ICAA Offensive Player of the Week.
Finnell (5-7, 185, Sr.), a running back from Gravette, Ark., gained 102 yards on the ground in 20 carries in SBU’s contest with Southeast Missouri on August 28, which included a run of 25 yards. Last season, Finell was SBU’s leading rusher with 456 yards (118 attempts, 3.9 average).
The ICAA (Independents Collegiate Athletic Association) is composed of Lake Erie, Lambuth, North Greenville, Oklahoma Panhandle State, Southwest Baptist, UNC-Pembroke and Urbana.
