MIAA Recognizes SBU's '4.0' Student-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has named 10 student-athletes from SBU on the 2007-08 MIAA Presidential Scholars list.

To gain this distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative 4.00 grade-point average -- undergraduate or graduate -- and complete a minimum of two terms of attendance at the nominating institution. Those redshirting during their season are not eligible.

SBU's student-athletes on this year's prestigious list are:
