HOUSTON, Texas -- The SBU men fell to the defending national champs, Lynn University, 5-1, and get within tiebreaker of advancing to next round of the 2008 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championship.

SBU led in the third set of all three remaining singles matches, when play was stopped.

SBU finished the season with a 16-6 record.

Head coach John Bryant, who was a unanimous selection for MIAA Coach of the Year earlier this season, was also named as the Regional Coach of the Year.
